Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

"Antara Grand", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Antara Grand Banquets & Hotel, located on Hapur Road, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. "Client", "you", or "your" refers to the individual or organisation booking or enquiring about our services. "Event" refers to any function, celebration, conference, or gathering booked at our premises.

2. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed event agreement and the required advance deposit. Verbal or written enquiries do not constitute a confirmed reservation. We reserve the right to hold a date provisionally for up to 7 days pending receipt of the deposit, after which the date may be released without notice.

3. Payment Terms

The following payment schedule applies to all bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• 25% non-refundable advance at the time of booking confirmation
• 50% of the total estimated amount due 60 days before the event date
• Remaining balance due within 7 days after the event

Payments may be made via bank transfer, cheque, or UPI. All charges are subject to applicable GST as per government regulations. Antara Grand reserves the right to suspend services if payments are not received by the agreed dates.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to our events team. The following cancellation charges apply:

• Cancellation more than 90 days before the event: Advance deposit is forfeited; no additional charges
• Cancellation between 30–90 days before the event: 50% of the total contracted amount is payable
• Cancellation within 30 days of the event: 100% of the total contracted amount is payable

Rescheduling requests are accommodated subject to availability and may attract an administrative fee. Force majeure events (natural disasters, government-mandated restrictions, etc.) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Guest Count & Changes

The contracted guest count forms the basis of catering and service planning. A minimum guaranteed number of guests will be charged regardless of actual attendance. Increases to the guest count must be communicated at least 14 days before the event and are subject to availability and additional charges. Last-minute additions on the day of the event may not be accommodated.

6. Venue Use & Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for the conduct of their guests and any hired third-party vendors. Antara Grand reserves the right to remove any individual from the premises whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, abusive, or endangering to staff or other guests. The client is financially liable for any damage caused to the venue, equipment, or property by guests or vendors during the event.

• Open flames, fireworks, or sky lanterns require prior written approval
• Confetti, glitter, or loose floral petals may be subject to a cleaning surcharge
• Alcohol consumption must adhere to applicable laws; we reserve the right to refuse service
• No illegal substances are permitted on the premises at any time

7. External Vendors

External vendors (decorators, entertainers, photographers, etc.) must be pre-approved by Antara Grand management and must comply with all venue rules and safety requirements. All external vendors must carry their own liability insurance. Antara Grand is not responsible for the performance, quality, or conduct of any external vendor hired by the client.

External catering is not permitted. All food and beverage must be sourced exclusively from our in-house kitchen unless a specific written exception is granted by management.

8. Photography & Media

Antara Grand reserves the right to photograph or video-record events for promotional, marketing, and portfolio purposes. Images or footage will not include identifiable guests without prior written consent. If you wish to opt out of venue promotional photography, please notify us in writing at least 30 days before your event.

9. Liability Limitation

Antara Grand's total liability for any claim arising from a booking or event shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for that event. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including loss of profits, reputational damage, or losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. We encourage amicable resolution of disputes through direct communication before any legal proceedings are initiated.

11. Amendments

Antara Grand reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. For active bookings, any material changes will be communicated in writing. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the most current version of these terms.
